My name is Sandie Brown and I'm a retired teacher who's taken a different path in life. Now I have the time to explore my artistic side.

Knitting, sewing, needle-work, crochet and macreme were my earlier interests. Candle-making and copper enamelling came later. Recently I developed an interest in drawing and painting.

I've always enjoyed working with power tools. Now I use a table saw, scroll saw, belt and drum sanders, drill press etc., to create my critters after I create the pattern from photos. What fun!

My critters allow me to explore my woodworking and artistic intersts. First I made a frog for our front door as I like frogs and have quite a large collection. Next I made a black bouvier to welcom our rescue dog, Tara, home. things have just blossomed from there.
